From Membership and Marina

April 1st is the last day to pay any outstanding balance for dues and fees. After this date there will be a Penalty.

Marina

All existing Dock Boxes must be removed by April 1st. The Marina Committee will dispose of them if they are not removed.

FROM MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

To begin with let me say thank you to all the members, their families and friends that supported our annual St. Patrick's Day Party (see www.1945mbsc.com Party's / Events). As always the step dancers were very entertaining and deserved all the applause they received. 

All too often we forget to mention the behind the scene folks that make these events the success they are. It is reasonably easy to remember the guys in the kitchen and I greatly appreciate Joe Nakelski, Mike Cuoco, Pat Lundy, Mark Bernstein, Mike Wischhusen, Ed Lauria, Frank Filippelli, Scott Hamroff, Scott Harford, Mike Mater, Tom Marsigliano, Chris Weinberger and Willie Roberts. Plus the very many others to numerous to remember that either did or offered to help. And if I missed anyone and I'm sure I have, please forgive me. While I'm at it I can't forget Steve Betsch, Joe McVeigh and Kevin Seinfeld for hawking the 50/50's and greeting the party goers. Thank You One & All.

Prize and Contest

Wednesday the 13th was a fun night with Ken teaching the Art of throwing a Cast Net and Brian The art of Tying and making your own Jigs. A great time was had by all.

From The Marina

The Dock Project is almost Complete. Rob Gannon headed the project with help from Rob Kujan, Frank Filippelli, and Ed Lauria. Thanks to Steve Betsch for measuring the add ons as they proved to be spot on and made the install easier. We sold the old floats to a marina on the South Shore which raised some money for the club.

Publicity

The Annual Awards Dinner was a success. I would Really like to see more members supporting the dinner next year. If I can make it from Indiana and Roger can drive down from upstate, the rest of you should be able to drive from your house on L.I. It is a great night and a free meal! All members, families and guests, and are welcome.
